My wife, Dellarose, and I have worked and known Shauna O’Callaghan for three years as regular visitors to Whistler from Australia.

During this time we made the momentous decision to actually move our family from Australia to Canada in 2006.  Having made this decision we needed to find and acquire a home for our family in Whistler.  To this end we appointed Shauna as our buying agent.  Shauna then worked tirelessly over about six months to determine our needs and to locate the best possible luxury home.

Finally we settled on a beautiful home called Kamakura in Treetops Lane.  She acted as a buying negotiator in this $6.25 million purchase with the vendor whilst we were still living in Australia and arranged for all the detailed due diligence for us and finally the settlment – all the while we lived 10,000 kilometres away.  We finally moved to Canada and she then organized all the professional tradespeople we would require to upgrade and expand the house to meet our demanding requirements.  We learnt to trust her implicitly as she came to understand our taste and requirements.

For personal family reasons – after living in Whistler for four months and having moved most of our personal belongings – we had to return to Australia and as a result we would have to sell the home which we had only just bought. Naturally, a very traumatic and stressful decision.  Shauna then performed a real estate miracle for the Baevskis.  She found a purchaser for our home and arranged for settlement on the property within thirty days.  We believe this was a record for Whistler.  In fact we were able to settle on the property by the time we had to leave again.

We continue to come to Whistler every winter for two months and should we ever decide to buy another home or holiday home there is no one else who combines the professionalism and personal touch and care than Shauna.  We could not recommend her more highly and anyone who trusts their high end property to you can be assured that no detail is too small and no one sells with more passion and calm commitment.
